The company has experience delivering internet traffic across East Africa, including setting up IP Transit from Nairobi through Uganda to Nimule at the South Sudan-Uganda border, overcoming challenges in rural areas with poor road infrastructure. We have established operations in South Sudan, enabling us to provide nationwide internet coverage. Additionally, we've served as a subcontractor to the Veteran Group, supplying layer 2 broadband services to the American Military Base in Mogadishu. Future expansions with Geosat will facilitate easier client setups once our footprint is established.

AfriOrbit's SatCom Division collaborates with mobile network operators to extend connectivity beyond current coverage limitations. By leveraging versatile and scalable space solutions, AfriOrbit bridges connectivity gaps and enables the integration of underserved communities into mobile networks and the internet. This initiative aims to eliminate internet dead zones and enhance mobile network connectivity to support the transition to 5G networks.

AfriOrbit addresses the growing IoT market with its satellite-to-IoT device service, utilizing an in-house Software Defined Radio (SDR) payload. This versatile technology supports customizable transmission and reception for various missions, including IoT communications. Key features of the SDR include numerous channels, multiplexing for increased capacity, high throughput for gigabit-level data, and low latency, ensuring efficient and adaptable connectivity solutions for diverse industrial IoT applications.
